I love the Beach Boys, but it surprises me that you like them.
Alt: I don't like having to all the chaff you need to sift through on their cocaine bloated albums from the 70s, in order to find the odd gems amongst them.

Isn't it a bit like being at a car boot sale?
Rummaging around and finding something great (a quid to you lad)?

Cocaine fucks musical talent up.
Kate Bush did some excellent stuff, till she started hitting the marching powder. It went shite then.
(, Wed 26 Sep 2012, 15:21, Reply)
Kate Bush should be annointed with hammers of fire

Dillinger says you are WRONG.

Talking of musical talent, here's that video of Kylie going upstairs with her arse showing. Possibly NSFW.
Well, it is from The Sun.

I was brought up on 50s rock'n'roll and surf music by my dear father, and have always loved it.
You should check out the 'Strummin' Mental' comp LPs for some hardcore 60s garage surf stuff from places like Mexico. Superb records.

Yet another thing your father has to answer for.

He used to play me Hendrix when I was about 7.
I thought it was 'heavy metal' :o(

One of the things I love about playing music to my son
is that small children don't know or care about genres.
It is all just 'music' to them.
(, Wed 26 Sep 2012, 15:36, Reply)
Oh hang on...
Is my son going to turn out like you, if I carry on with this?
(, Wed 26 Sep 2012, 15:37, Reply)
I'm afraid so.

Last week my daughter unprompted came out with 'RACK-AN-RAOUL' in a Brian Johnson style,
when we were arseing about on the guitar. I fucking pissed myself.

I need to check out my missus returning to work from her maternity leave before I look at any more records
But I shall add this to my impossible-to-complete, mental wishlist.
