no fireworks last night. but had afternoon tea and cocktails on the river in richmond on sat, and got a cracking view of about 5 different displays. i like fireworks, me. i also like treacle toffee and parkin, neither of which were served with my dainty crust-free wafer-thin cucumber sandwiches. tragic.
