Sorry, I went out for lunch. Missed the end of our conversation. So when you said:
"It's ensuring that our IFAs operate in accordance with FSA regulations.
That's what it means, but it involves lots of skills and specific areas of technical knowledge
A large part of my specific role is working with the advisers on their marketing. Interdisciplinary, hence the two sets of professional qualifications I hold."
How do you go about ensuring that your IFAs operate in accordance with FSA regulations, what skills do you need and in which areas of technical knowledge? Also, when you work with advisors on their marketing, what does that actually entail?

the poor man cops a lot of flak for being a part-time admin assistant in a public swimming pool. I thought somebody ought to find out about the real Dozer.
I don't know why Nakers is being so confrontational. It's like he's got something against career temps, or something.

You pay more early on when they're still reasonably clean and tight.
By the end of the evening they're full of other blokes cum and as wide as the channel tunnel, so you get a discount then.
Apparently.

Depends how you define 'admin'. Our admin team deal with post and paying the advisers. The Compliance team deal with paraplanning, policy, supervision and T&C. I do Financial Promotions, so need marketing and regulatory knowledge.
I realise it's not as admin-free and sexy as IT, but there you go.
