Preacher's not dark per se because, despite all the gratuitous violence and sexual depravity,
it's too funny to be properly dark. Spectacularly blasphemous though.

I don't dislike comics
I've spent the last two days reading about 30 issues of the walking dead comic. But it's a comic, calling it a Graphic Novel is just utter tosh.

I consider 'comic' to be when they are in installments, 'graphic novel' for when they are all in one compendium. But really, I don't give a fuck and like to call science fiction 'sci-fi' to annoy people

The clue is in the word "graphic", which you don't see associated with novels, unless they're graphic novels.
