Does she grate the carrot or chop it finely?

my mum used to make it with a tiny dash of mango chutney
poor mum, i can't bear anything sweet in my savoury food, i was very rude about it

I can sort of see what she was trying to do.
Did you have anyone with normal tastes to verify if it was actually a good idea?
(, Thu 7 Feb 2013, 13:59, Reply)
yeah, everyone else liked it
it was from a recipe book, i forget which, but it would have been some health fangled thing

First time it was chopped, now we have a new food processor it all gets shredded in there.
You just have to be wary of it being too soggy, bit of a pat down with a tea towel or kitchen paper is advisable.

Cool. I'll try that.

Hi Al!
loads of chopped coriander and mint is the key. Also, carrot isn't necessary. Oh and drain it through a colander before serving if it gets a bit wet. ;)
