I have a Cafetière, one of those little stove-top pots a bodum single cup drip thingy and 2 filter coffee makersI used to keep some instant about the place for emergencies and philistines, but it went mouldy because no emergency is so great it necessitates drinking instant and none of my friends are coffewrongs.
I also have a little grinder so I can grind my own beans.
despite this, I do not consider myself particularly 'into coffee' I just like a cup of coffee from time to time and view nescafe as a vaguely coffee flavoured soft drink for women and school children.

Instant coffee is foul. Cafetiere is the simplest everyday solution. Got a filter machine with a timer on it so the coffee is ready when you get up, burps never remember to use it.
