No, I am thinking of the song 'Higher Ground' by RHCP, from the album "Mother's Milk"which was originally recorded by Stevie Wonder. Hence my use of this answer to the 'best cover version' question.

Hendrix was pretty good at covers.He managed the perfect combination of demonstrating his love and reverence for the original, while making it undeniably his own.
