Have you clean out the lint catcher and waste pipes?

Yeah.
There isn't much of it that is accessible, but I drained the bit of water that was in the bottom and then unscrewed the filter thing and checked that was empty.
Then I pulled the whole thing out and disconnected the waste pipe and checked that it was flowing okay, and it was. So I've run a super hot wash a couple of times with a bottle of vinegar in the drum and it's a bit better, but not much.

It does have that kind of smell, but I would have thought that it would have disintergrated and gone with all teh hots washes and rinsing i've done.

You can, but vinegar has the smae descaling efffect, especially when you run it though a 90 degree wash.

They will, but your a fucking money spaz if you use them
A bottle of basics vinegar is 22p. It must cost at least 15p to make a glass bottle. Crazy shit.
Also, apparently you should run a hot wash with a load of soda crystals in the drawer.
I'm going to buy some today.

It's probably stagnant water that's not draining properly,
