My biggest extravagance at the moment is buying Folio books.
I expect most people would consider that stupid, but I love them.

My next biggest extravagance will be buying a car. It's going to be 20+ years old, poor on petrol and expensive to find parts for.

On the plus side, I'm currently in the black for the first time in a decade and it's only getting better, so that's nice. Plus I'll be buying my own place in a year or two.

He's a groom, working in the stables
She's the lady of the house, too busy and high class to talk to a low born stableman

She was powerless to resist as his sapphire eyes burnt into her very soul
His strong arms enveloped her, and within seconds he'd dropped his trollies, bent her over and chucked his muck.

They're a specialist publisher.
They produce illustrated editions of books using high quality paper, bindings, stitched spines etc. They cost in the region of thirty quid per book, so it's a thing for proper book nerds.

I hope so too
but I'm safe in the knowledge that my house in London will retain its value.
(, Thu 4 Apr 2013, 10:16, Reply)
which is ironic
because London and the South-East is the only part of the UK that actually needs a property price crash.
(, Thu 4 Apr 2013, 10:21, Reply)
not while everyone and their dog wants to live there

(, Thu 4 Apr 2013, 10:22, Reply)
Indeed.
but that's the problem. When people whine about houses being overpriced, they simply mean "houses in the south east are overpriced"
(, Thu 4 Apr 2013, 10:25, Reply)
it'll continue for the foreseeable. It's well crazy innit

(, Thu 4 Apr 2013, 10:28, Reply)
Especially when so many of the industries in London and the South East are so "emperor's new clothes"
