My name is Alex
I bought Brave New World to read a few years ago when I had a girlfriend
It's by 'Aldous Huxley'
She started referring to it as 'Al Does Hugs Me'
We were grownups (technically)

HAHA GAY

Unless it's wine, if it's wine you start thinking it's a good idea to contact people and get all emotional
At least I do
I don't drink much wine anymore

only temporarily.
I have a question for you. When did people renting property start paying non-refundable holding deposits and fees so credit checks can be performed?
(, Fri 19 Apr 2013, 15:51, Reply)
I'll need that in English stunned, I can tell there's a question in there somewhere

(, Fri 19 Apr 2013, 15:52, Reply)
oh right it sort of makes sense now that I think about it, fucked if I know, there's an agency that we use to get the tenants in the first instance that's all their bag

(, Fri 19 Apr 2013, 15:54, Reply)
The Deposit Protection Scheme

(, Fri 19 Apr 2013, 15:55, Reply)
that's got nothing to do with credit checks

(, Fri 19 Apr 2013, 15:56, Reply)
fuck it 2011 when it came into force

(, Fri 19 Apr 2013, 15:57, Reply)
That's different.
That covers how the agent holds your deposit and what happens when there is a dispute over it's return.
(, Fri 19 Apr 2013, 15:57, Reply)
i can look it up on google for you if you like

(, Fri 19 Apr 2013, 15:56, Reply)
Renters getting charged "holding fees" when you find a property you want. Non-refundable. So the agent cunt keeping it.
And then the property owner charges you to conduct a credit check.
(, Fri 19 Apr 2013, 15:56, Reply)
oh right when you get double fucked. I'm nice and don't charge for the credit check.
It's standard practice I guess, particularly in London where you get raped for everything.
(, Fri 19 Apr 2013, 15:59, Reply)
London is hard work.
I have already told two agencies no thanks and they weren't bothered in the slightest.
(, Fri 19 Apr 2013, 16:06, Reply)
tough shit innit, rising rents and no shortage of applicants, means the agents have an easy life and don't give a fuck

(, Fri 19 Apr 2013, 16:09, Reply)
when letting agents
realised that property was in very high demand and therefore started acting like cunts in order for you to have the privilege of renting from them... All the service fees get paid before you even get approved for the property so they can string a few folks on at the same time and kerching
