i just got this from the oxford college where i did my masters:
If you don’t mind the early start, the Morris dancers and the choir singing from Magdalen Tower make this a traditional highlight of the Oxford year.
how shit does that sound?

it was in creative writing, and we all know how valuable that is and how much it will enhance my future income.
actually, that being said, quite a few of the guys on the course have now had books published, so maybe it does work.

also if i just put "masters from oxford" on my cv, hopefully people will just assume it's in law, and NOBODY WILL EVER KNOW.
but 90% of the course were doing it full-time. a 2 year, part time course in creative writing. and this was their job. one of them already had a masters in poetry. poetry. that is even more useless than creative writing.
