The worst thing in my life is the self service tills in Tesco
No-one knows how to use them, so they're either bleating for help, or stood there daydreaming as four of them are free.

I'm worried I'm gonna get a smack cos I've started gesturing madly behind them to urge them forward.

Presumably the idea is to employ less checkout monkeys, but it takes as many to man them because people are fuckwits and the tills are shit, so defeating the object, surely?

Just politely ask the nice lady to come over and put her code in, remember the code in that shop, do it yourself next time.
