Hello Poppet long time'N'all
Whats the use they all speak english?

I know. But I would have grown up being bilingual if my dad hadn't gotten sick.
It's kind of hard to speak Dutch if you have no layrnx to help with some of the sounds, so it makes it hard to teach your kids the language. I really wish that I'd grown up speaking it because it would have been a nice way to keep in touch with my family roots.

I had a girlfriend in Flemish Belgium so started learning Dutch
its an ugly language. Telling someone you love them with ik houd van u is not romantic. Not Italian and French, they're romantic languages.
