Why would she think that pole dancing would help her with her push ups?
Pole dancing mostly uses your legs, doesn't it?

I don't know Kroney, I really have never spent much time pole dancing, but even if it is good exercise, it's only ever going to be bodyweight,
So you plateau very fast.

You have to eat loads and pile on the weight to make it worthwhile
So you gateau very fast

Well that's bollocks isn't it.
For starters a push up is only bodyweight, and secondly, you don't see monkeys lifting a lot of weights, but you'll find that they are proportionally far stronger than people simply because they do a huge amount of "bodyweight only" exercise.

You might not develop huge bulging muscles like the Rock by only doing bodyweight resistance works like squats and push ups, but you can end up as strong.
(, Wed 5 Jun 2013, 11:41, Reply)
You can reach levels of strength yeah, but you'll never lift the same weights or because strong as someone doing proper wright training.
Or see results anywhere near as fast.

Well, that sentence turned in to gibberish fairly quickly didn't it.

Bullshit
Look at male gymnasts.

Your average person would gain as much form bodyweight resistance work than they would form weights. Probably more in fact as you are less likely to injure yourself and most bodyweight work covers multiple groups of muscles and so you end up with a better overall physique rather than just targeting selected muscle groups and neglecting the opposite ones.
