(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:36, 1 reply, 12 years ago)
Most of them seem to be cabrios, though I'm not especially a fan.

NO CAR CHAT!

(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:40, Reply)
IT'S EITHER THAT OR CARDIGAN CHAT AND NOBODY WANTS THAT

(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:41, Reply)
Carry on.

(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:42, Reply)
There is always Christopher Walken Chat

Apparently the smaller engined ones are a bit gutless
needs a 2.8 (later ones 3.0). The Z M Coupe is a beast, though.
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:40, Reply)
I'm looking for a car to drive to Florence in, you see.
Needs to be quick, comfortable to drive for long distances and capable of holding a couple of decent-sized suitcases.
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:44, Reply)
What you need my son is.....
an Audi A6
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:47, Reply)
or the A5 as a coupe
Or for long distances a CLK
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:50, Reply)
Or a bit of a Lexus.
'Scuze I, pardon I.
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:52, Reply)
This'll horrify you:
I'm also looking at an original TT. The V6, to be precise. Guaranteed future classic.
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:54, Reply)
I agree
See also the VW Corrado V6
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 10:00, Reply)
I'm surprised the Corrado doesn't have a bigger following already.
That generation of VWs is really underrated at the moment.
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 10:02, Reply)
I like the Corrado
the screw-supercharged one is deffo a future classic.

Fiat Coupe, too, when in Rome and all that. Or for real classic, Lancia Delta Integrale, but LHD and probably not a relaxing one for a long journey...
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 10:06, Reply)
Budget??
If money no object Aston Martin all the way for me.
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:47, Reply)
under 10, for preference.

I'm on fire today Kroney
I fear I may peak to early

If I was going Merc
it'd be a 90s SL. Gorgeous car.
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:57, Reply)
It's got to have enough room on the back seat for office girl's collossal gunt.

(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 9:59, Reply)
Haha if there's one thing I'm incredibly smug about at the moment
it's og and her lack of gunt.
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 10:01, Reply)
I would go with the CL,
You can pick one up very cheaply but they do drink petrol
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 10:01, Reply)
For that money if you want it reliable it's more than likely going to be German
Sorry if this means you have to put your hands above your head before the central locking will work for you, but...

Something like a 5-series BMW diesel, with M-sport pack preferably. 8k gets a 55 plate, 10k a 58 maybe.
