i had a posh cunt try to tell me that jagermeister is pronounced
jay-ga-mister, and that he'd spent his gap year in germany so it must be true.
He was clearly being taken the piss out of by whoever had the misfortune to cross his path.

it's a whole world of drinks I'd no idea about

(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:02, Reply)
i was aware, but only due to being in the trade,
they're quite civilised digestives really, not horrible bomb shot drinks for cunts.
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:05, Reply)
Last time I went out in the city center, one of the lads insisted on buying shots?????

(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:07, Reply)
YUP,
but the dark heavy drinks like jager are for after dinner stomach settlers, or between course cleansers for more eating really.
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:09, Reply)
I drink a lot
but not in that DOWN IT rugger way
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:12, Reply)
me too,
i really rarely drink spirits if i'm honest, i'd rather drink slow all day, than get loopy.
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:17, Reply)
I have taken a few clients out for (MIDDAY) dinner*
and follow a simple rule, beer whilst waiting for the table, wine during the meal and a short to finish off. unfortunately I have been the driver for the last three times I feel cheated especially as it was me that paid for it**

*Anything that involves 3 courses is dinner regardless of the time
**On the company credit card

(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:14, Reply)
sounds alright,

(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:16, Reply)
Worst thing is the Hilton is only a short stagger to my house :(
I want to be the one that gets to go home and have a siesta after a large mid-day meal :(
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:18, Reply)

I'm one of life's sippers.
I tend to like my drinks straight apart from gin too.
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:11, Reply)
This is precisely it.

(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:13, Reply)
the number of times I've been asked if I want ice in cognac is insane.
The whole design of the glass is to aid warming. Ice? Wankers
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:17, Reply)
I only have ice in whisky if I'm drinking it somewhere crowded and hot.
There are very few whiskies which need water, and fewer which are best with ice.

Philistines.
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:18, Reply)
All I will say is that you can sip very quickly...

(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:20, Reply)
hahahah fair cop guv

(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:27, Reply)
People who drink it are twats. Much better champagnes are available for less money.

(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 19:47, Reply)
you know what battered,
you're right, but it isn't the job of the idiot to learn about products, it is just to consume whatever is marketed properly for their demographic. Give moet their dues, they sell a fuck ton more champagne than a lot of other vineyards.
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 19:56, Reply)
Agreed. Can't not really, given I work in marketing/ advertising.

(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:01, Reply)
i always like that, despite the huge popularity of the jager bomb (see convo above)
that Jager and Red Bull refuse to be associated with eachother in any way. And no matter how hard Monster try, the go to is always jager and red bull.
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:06, Reply)
It just sounds like Pernod and black
I think I destroyed a carpet from throwing up that ghastly mixture
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:16, Reply)
