The firm next door got broken into last night.
Made me think, I cannot think of the last time someone I know got burgled (lol apart from in the 'turd' sense lolol). Do people still do burglaries (outside of Liverpool obv)? Seems to be on the wane.

If this is so, why might that be? Most households have more stuff in them than ever before I'd have thought. Or is it all trackable WAP-phones so not worth pinching?

My dad's house got broken in to a few weeks back.
Although the must have been pretty fucking stupid, as they took his xbox, a few games and about 25 quid in cash (all in 50ps)and left.
Leaving well over 5k worth of mine and my brothers music equipment (amps, guitars, cabs and so on) as well as vintage vinyl by the shelf load and neither of dad's motorbikes.
Seems a slim hall for the amount of effort it must have taken to get through the back door.
