Sorry to be the bearer etc/
But that doesn't seem to be in ranked order its just done by region for the 50 best beaches.

Look, beth gets the piss taken out of her a fair bit
for living in chav-piss-soaked Weston Super Mare. Just let her have this one, ok?

I cant Kro Kro
I need facts not politically skewed opinion

No, he's right.
I got momentarily carried away. But it's better than battered's slash fiction, and it doesn't involve television.

Oh OK, fair enough.
Let's be fair, the only list Weston's going to get as high as fourth on is the "worst places for scumbags in the UK"

The same article ranks our pier 3rd in an actual ranking list, though.

Aren't all piers shit though?
Seems a little pointless ranking them.

Southend's is 1.34 miles long.
The only conceivable point of that would be to get you as far away from Southend as possible.

My home town
Unfortunately...

very long pier is due to the difference in the tides so they could unload the boats at all times.

Boring sentence is boring

Nobody seems to like their home town.
I'm lucky in that I come from a very nice town, indeed.
(, Thu 11 Jul 2013, 13:26, Reply)
Some parts are quite nice
but it does its best to live up to all the stereotypes of an Essex town
(, Thu 11 Jul 2013, 13:29, Reply)
i love my hometown

(, Thu 11 Jul 2013, 13:42, Reply)
my overwhelming impression of weston was GREY
everything was grey. the shops, the people, the pavements, the beach, the sea. all grey.
(, Thu 11 Jul 2013, 13:18, Reply)
Give them credit, they've done a fair bit to pretty up teh seafront in the last few years.
Apart from the derelict lido that the council keeps dragging its feet over.

The actual town is a shithole though.
(, Thu 11 Jul 2013, 13:20, Reply)
we walked through the town and down the pier
it was a pretty depressing town centre, but it was about feb/mar, so i will bet it's nicer in the summer. and we did have fucking nice sandwiches/cakes in one of the cafes.
