If everything was priced at its "inherent value" this country would have gone bankrupt years agoalong with many others, as so many revenue streams depend on inflating the value of things to the "market value" and siphoning off the difference.

Most things do get priced at a decent value when there's decent competition and less barriers to entry.I'd argue that pretty much everything in a supermarket is priced just about right for costs/margins, clothes are not badly overpriced either.
