Impossible to prove it, of course.
But we drank a similar amount and she usually doesn't get much worse than I do. She was totally out for the count about half an hour after we left the bar until she slowly got better towards the end of the most difficult trip home I've ever embarked on. By the time we got home she was absolutely fine, just a little drunk.

One of the barmen kept asking me which drink was mine. Entirely circumstantial, but that has never happened to me before. Why would he care, you know?

I'm on some stuff called Amytriptaline that i've heard of people using for the same reason.
When I was on a heavy dose, it would make me so tired that I struggled to keep even one eye open, and I'd totally forget the evening.
