Nice. I do like a good risotto.
Spinach and chicken. Standard.

Haven't cooked one for myself for ages. Sometimes cook a carrot & parsnip one for my daughter.

You do quite a lot of cooking don't you?
I wish I was more motivated to do more proper cooking.
(, Thu 26 Sep 2013, 20:53, Reply)
I cook everyday. Always used to. When I split from my wife & moved in to my own place I made a 'no takeaway or ready meal' rule.
Stuck to it so far.

I'm particularly useless lately, that sounds like a good plan. Well done for sticking to it.
I don't really enjoy cooking for just me :(

Wondered how long it would take you to get to 'woe is me' :-)

(, Thu 26 Sep 2013, 21:14, Reply)
I didn't realise it was his birthday today.
I'll drop him a line.
(, Thu 26 Sep 2013, 21:32, Reply)
Just to be clear.
'Dropping him a line' means sending him a text message.

Sure, sure, totally believable mate. Totally. Not well bent or anything. Not at all.

(, Thu 26 Sep 2013, 21:37, Reply)
I didn't really mean it like that, it's just a lot of effort to cook something from scratch for just yourself innit.
But thanks for your endearing cynicism.
(, Thu 26 Sep 2013, 21:00, Reply)
Plus all the tears make anything you cook too salty

(, Thu 26 Sep 2013, 21:01, Reply)
You're always mean to me.

(, Thu 26 Sep 2013, 21:07, Reply)
It is worth it though. Eat cheaper, more healthily and learn new dishes.

(, Thu 26 Sep 2013, 21:02, Reply)
Don't get me wrong, I don't eat rubbish all the time. Just don't cook enough.
Think I will start again though.
(, Thu 26 Sep 2013, 21:06, Reply)
I find it relaxing.

(, Thu 26 Sep 2013, 21:11, Reply)
I find doing bugger all relaxing.
