I find some shop brand wines to be superior to those you would spend 20+ quid on.
You can find fresh food produce cheaper too. Always get meat froma local butchers.

I woudn't argue about electronics. Think it's always worth paying a bit more.
Shoes too. Cheap shoes fall apart quicker than b3ta marriages.
