and you still wouldn't have filled out a UCAS personal statement
what with them only being introduced in the current form since you and I were at Uni.

It's online obviously, up to 4,000 words.
There's a few tips on the UCAS home page.
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 13:57, Reply)
You should probably check there then

(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 13:58, Reply)
Yeah, thought I'd ask people from the internet too.

i definitely had to write a personal statement
I remember doing it. I was ranting on about how I've loved reading since I opened my first meg and mog book.

lucky for me they only looked at grades, as you say. because I sounded like an utter spastic.

I had to do one as a Cambridge applicant
I'm pretty sure it wasn't part of the standard form. Then again, I was UCCA and PCAS* so, well old skool

*well, obvs only UCCA. I wouldn't have soiled my mind with a PCAS form.

Cambridge? Didn't have you down as a raging woofter Badgers.

(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 15:01, Reply)
It's not like I fucking got in, chief.
You've got to show willing and that. Got me out of a certain expulsion in the sixth form, as it happens, the fact that I was an oxbridge applicant.
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 15:23, Reply)
I see. Bumming one of the 1st formers was it? Nice work.

(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 15:30, Reply)
Should have been in a further maths lesson
was caught in the pub. pissed. in school uniform.

This after a couple of incidents in the lower sixth that, apparently, were nowhere near as funny as we thought they were, lad, and we'll soon wipe that smirk off your face.

Was that for the LLB, or your creative writing one?

(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 14:01, Reply)
neither
I did a BA in eng first, then a law conversion
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 14:04, Reply)
Wait, you're not even properly qualified in law?
No wonder they keep passing you over
(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 14:06, Reply)
pfffft
i'm about 3 years off even being qualified enough for it to be an option. don't repeat rory insults; they make him look daft enough as it is.

That's if the cancer doesn't get you first

(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 14:12, Reply)

(, Tue 29 Oct 2013, 14:16, Reply)
No one is properly qualified in law
They just try to use the most convoluted sentence structure to say the simplest thing then charge a fortune for it...

Fucking chancers the lot of them
