i did read about somewhere that was serving fries cooked in truffle oil with parmesan crustingthey sounded like proper cheesy chips

I've had that, there was a place that was doing truffle chips, bbq chips and katsu curry chips in like a 'buy a small bucket thing of each of them and share'.The meal was lush but the chips were average at best.
