I will be starting the day with a medium English (I don't have any black pudding). Then slow cooker roasting a beef joint so the whole flat smells of roast beef all day. Then making a gravy with the meat juices, some wholegrain mustard, grated horseradish, brandy and a little sour cream. Probably serve with mash and some of the vegetable trivet.

I don't want it to go to pieces though, like pulled pork does.
I'm well up for making my own (baby) gravy with the juices though. Plan.
