cook more, get some of the jobs done on my flat, keep a plant alive
My roast beef is in the slow cooker. Proper man cooking; for "peel trim and smash 3 garlic cloves" I used a 16oz claw hammer.

i have one that my aunt gave me
I've never used it, as vegetarian food is not so good in a slow cooker. come to London and you can have it for free!

you really do
excellent in the winter for hearty stews and casseroles, and the meat is cheaper because it can be old and tough and still comes out lovely.

More flavour, innit, but the toughness is usually the downside so it's cheaper.
hence the slow cooker being awesome.
