I don't know why people want to go to the north or south poles
They look really dull, and are incredibly cold.

I'm no beach whale, but I need some sort of eye candy.

Besides, they could just look it up on Google Earth or summat inner.

If I ever came into millions I would go to obscure places. See the wonders of the world also. Macchu Picchu is high on that list.

my friends did the week long trek to get there
said they were far too knackered and hot and bitten to appreciate it when they got there - especially when an air conditioned coach load of fat American tourists rolled up next to them.

Difficult to go there now, they have limited the number of people who can go each year as the visitor volumes were starting to cause too much wear & tear.
