We also enjoyed the latest, post-Stallone version of Judge Dredd.
What sort of cyberpunkish films would you recommend we move onto next? Ones that look and sound really good, and hopefully have a decent plot too?

The original is a classic but the new one is just a line-by-line ripoff with some CGI and shit acting.

I didn't think the acting in the new one was so bad, and some of the cinematography was spot on

It's a beautiful film - it looks absolutely marvellous, and the soundtrack is jolly good, too.
My friend thinks it's boring, but I don't.
I now want more.

And it has Kate Beckinsale in it - always a plus.

I'd recommend Hardware, Accion Mutante and Class of 1999. Not all necessarily 'cyberpunk' but worth watching. Hardware is probably the cyberpunkyish of that lot and if you like that I'd recommend Dust Devil by the same director.
