I saw a nasty crash on the way in to workcar hit a front garden wall at about 60 and ended up on top of a Cornish hedge about 50 ft down the road. I expect serious injury or death.

Yes, but front garden walls in Cornwall are made of granite and it was demolished.So are Cornish hedges to be fair but they landed on top of the hedge.
