Dunno, I'm not really all that fussed by New York, to be honest. I'd rather go to some ruins.alt: In Canada. Luckily we took a trip to the Jorvik Viking Centre and now I'm with somebody else in London and much happier for it.
alt2: They're announcing the John Lewis advert on telly now like it's some sort of fucking historical cinematic event instead of a cynical attempt at shilling cashmere scarves via the medium of tugging at your heartstrings with cheap shots at your still unsophisticated caveman psychology and I TOTALLY DIDNT BLUB AT THE NEW ONE LIKE SOME SORT OF GAY ALRIGHT?

That was my first thought actually. So they just abducted it and put it in a box? Or some kind of 'arranged marriage' type thing? Either way, a bit unpleasant and soured the whole experience for me.
