I mooched about the river a bit but it didn't really quell my seaside urges.
Best gigs are prolly still the same as they were three or four days ago when this question was last asked.

You might've been to more, better ones since then

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 13:57, Reply)
I've got the week off. Might take the dog up to the balmy East Coast one day.

Totally going to have a really expensive ice cream on Southwold pier just to spite YOU.
The ice cream'll probably have some really poncey flavour like 'organic tutti frutti with granola' or sutin as well.

HA!

You're in Cambridge, aren't you?
I have two top notch gig recommendations for next week for you, if you're interested.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:11, Reply)
Fine. Be like that then.

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:24, Reply)
he's too busy watching 2 men have sex
in better news, i got meatsnake poster to embrace a vegetarian lifestyle last night! lentil bol and wholewheat pasta ftw. he'll never eat meat again.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:25, Reply)
I'm not sure that one meal equates to a lifestyle.

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:27, Reply)
"he'll never eat meat again"
can't you read??
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:27, Reply)
I tend not to read everything properly, no.
I'm still doubtful of the veracity of this claim though.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:31, Reply)
do you see him denying it?

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:41, Reply)
The only thing I saw him deny was the holocaust and then Monty convinced him that it was every bit as brutal as they said it was and then they both lolled and then he shut up.

We had a quorn chili too, I liked that.

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:28, Reply)
boyce has promised us his famous chilli with quorn, i need to liaise with the oaf

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:30, Reply)
I made an enormous vat of chilli last night
with proper meat in
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:36, Reply)
I was surprised how meat like the quorn was. I tried a veggie sausage but that was rank.

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:41, Reply)
Ah, but vegetarians shouldn't be allowed to eat anything that is a bit like meat.

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:45, Reply)
It's okay man, I'm not vegetarian.

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:47, Reply)
I know.

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:48, Reply)
hello
I had a nap. Sorry. Exciting times here.

I would be delighted to hear your gig recommendations. Thank you.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:36, Reply)
Both at somewhere called CB2, which I guess means something to you...
Monday - Richard Dawson - I cannot recommend this chap enough, he is amazing.
Wednesday - Cath & Phil Tyler - Anglo-American folky goodness.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:44, Reply)
GMoS recommended Dawson to me too. That's on the list.
Folky couples make me kinda pukey. Dunno why. Repressed abuse memories or something.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:59, Reply)
Fair enough, thought that one might not be your bag, but I like 'em.
GMoS seems like a decent chap who knows his onions.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 15:03, Reply)
+ BUM LOLOLOLOL

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 15:03, Reply)
It might sound like damnation of the faintest praise, by GMoS is b3ta's sexiest ever poster.

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 15:07, Reply)
I reckon it was that couple supporting Lucy Ward what did it.
You know, the ones who played a guitar and mandolin cover of 'There Is A Light That Never goes Out' and the song wot they wrote that was inspired by 'Twilight'?
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 15:07, Reply)
Jesus.

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 15:08, Reply)
This was A Thing that happened.
Even the normally unfailingly lovely headliner was floored by how truly dreadful they were. She quite often invites her support act up to do an encore or two with her. Didn't happen this time.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 15:13, Reply)
you fuck
I'd almost banished that from my memory
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 15:49, Reply)
Fine. Be like that then.

(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 14:44, Reply)
Soz, fell asleep at my desk.
