A proper reply to the altalt
I've been spoilt, and have seen a lot of absolutely fantastic performances. My favourite has to be when the plug was pulled on Springsteen and McCartney though, because that was incredibly funny.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 13:44, Reply)
Why is McCartney 'relevant' again?
How come if an old female artist collaborates with young stars she is desperate, yet if Macca does it, he's a legend?
(, Mon 9 Feb 2015, 13:49, Reply)
All of his stuff since the frog chorus has been shit.
He's clinging to the beatles legacy and will continue to do so until he dies, when he won't be remembered for anything after his work with wings.

To be fair, it is quite a legacy.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds in Brighton was one of the best dirty rock n' roll gigs I've ever seen.

Lee Scratch Perry at Hackney Ocean was bloody superb.

New Model Army just seem to be getting better and better and better.

Was very disappointed with Toots & The Maytals in Brighton a couple of years ago, although saw the lovely sight of an entire family getting down to them - grandchildren of about 7 or 8, through mum & dad and grandma & grandpa. That was cool.
