I like a decent pyrenean brebis

Klaatu barata nicto
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:04, Reply)
Shove some of that Pyrenean brebis down their throats and get thee to a pub.
Steven Seagal would make a great modern Gort. He's got the full acting range.

I watched Dune the other day
/ac
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:10, Reply)
Is Dune ridiculous?
I think it holds its own in the serious canon, even if it has dated enormously.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:12, Reply)
Nah, I don't have a dependency on alcohol.
alt. Alien Resurrection or Legend if we're going for ridiculous

Masters of the Universe
That one blows up the kitsch-o-meter every time.

By the power of GAY Skull.

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:36, Reply)
Just had my hand down my trousers scratching my arse.
Turned around and realised nobody had closed the curtains on the fucking great window behind me that looks directly into an old folks' home.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:13, Reply)
I don't think I've seen that one.
Is Sean Connery in it?
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:16, Reply)
Tom Cruise.
It's while he was paying his dues during his early career. There was that fantasy one he did, and this.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:17, Reply)
This Island Earth
Total bollocks and pushes all the right buttons.

You should embrace the joy that is life,
Mr Grumpypants.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:19, Reply)
I'm happy enough really, Internet stuff is not really me bearing my soul m8

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:20, Reply)
Forbidden Planet.

Not just a haven for unwashed virgins; also a film.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:17, Reply)
Good movie that.

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:24, Reply)
Haven't seen that one.
I'm familiar only with the comic and the shop in London.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:27, Reply)
Timecop.
One of the best films ever made.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:27, Reply)
I'm quite fond of a cheesy sci-fi film called Time Stalkers.
No Van Damme, but Laura Dern.

I like Krull
for its relentlessly depressing approach to crushing children's dreams.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:36, Reply)
You know what I fucking love, if some newb or whatevz comes here posting how their mum [real-life] got raped and murdered.
We'd all be like "lulz, dead mum"

But if someone like me or montz post an OhWoeIsMe - it's all proper sympathy and well wishes.

Just an observation
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:37, Reply)
Yeah, but you've done your time.

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:38, Reply)
it's the internet equivalent of giving the new kid at school a wedgie.

I took the piss hilariously and ti wasn't even popular paged you bunch of cunts.

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:39, Reply)

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:41, Reply)
You've got to earn your sympathy around here.
Don't just turn up like a n00b and expect us to care.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:42, Reply)
it's almost like they're an insecure clique of emotionally stunted feebles

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:43, Reply)
You wouldn't get any sympathy from me.
I don't like you.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:43, Reply)
it seems weird to post that sort of detail to strangers though doesn't it?
Like, most of us have been hanging around long enough we sort of know each other, maybe even consider each other friends, but a stranger just vomiting that sort of sad info out is probably doing it for the attention, and that is why people take the piss.
if it was a real cry for help, a brief read of the site would let you know this isn't the place.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:45, Reply)
It's no Mumsnet.

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:50, Reply)
are you still blooing about that last thread?
It's in the past man. Don't hold onto negative feelings.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 19:10, Reply)
gonna have a beer at home if that's OK with you.
I like the original tron a lot.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:42, Reply)
I might have home beers
My legs have suddenly gone lazy

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:53, Reply)
You have my blessing.

MEAT.

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 18:54, Reply)
I've got an itch on my back in the sort of place you can't reach.
It's super annoying I might go into the garden and rub myself on a fence post like a mental.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 19:16, Reply)
use a spoon
or have you got little fliddy arms?
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 19:19, Reply)

My arms are normal sized.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 19:25, Reply)
gunna give Cities Skylines a go now.

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 19:54, Reply)
If we're still talking shitty scifi, an overheard conversation has stated that Dr Who could learn from Game of Thrones. Not seen GoF, good or rubbish?

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 19:58, Reply)
Do you like tits and dwarfs?

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 19:59, Reply)
Tits, yep, dwarves, less so.

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 20:06, Reply)
Well in that case you should watch it. You'll see tits and gain an appreciation of bad ass dwarfs.

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 20:08, Reply)
Probably give it a miss, I'm not into the fantasy stuff.

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 20:17, Reply)
Oh right
maybe next time when asking for advice about watching a fantasy show you should mention you don't like fantasy at the start. Or you know just not watch it without needing advice.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 20:19, Reply)
It was mentioned it was better than the usual shite, I wanted an opinion.

(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 20:22, Reply)
It is one of the best fantasy shows I've ever watched and extremly interesting politically, but anyone who "doesnt' like fantasy"
will get turned off by the place names on their own well before you even see a dragon.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 20:26, Reply)

otherwise we would never get to review all the stuff we saw on the internet days earlier
(, Tue 10 Mar 2015, 20:22, Reply)
Think how empty your life would be then?
I'm going to name a part of my virtual city after users on here and post a screenshot tomorrow. Look forward to that, you'll be a river
