even my shitty 20 year old polo has a touchscreen in the dash connected via bluetooth to the amp.
Sat Nav, Audio, Video, Phone Tethering, Handsfree.

Yeh but the iPod's nice.

Bluetooth is gash.
Nice work.

Depends what you spend. Better that than cables trailing everywhere

(, Mon 16 Mar 2015, 13:53, Reply)
Cables don't trail everywhere if you run them behind the trim like a half-sensible person.

(, Mon 16 Mar 2015, 13:54, Reply)
Bluetooth doesn't sound gash if you buy decent bluetooth like a half sensible person.
Plus my way I can pop the touchscreen in and out without fucking about with cables

I will properly sort out my car audio once I move inot the new house. I'll have more spare cash for fripperies.
Although I'm not putting in a touchscreen into a 24 year old car. Talk about inappropriate. Like a G-string on a granny.

leave it another year and it'll become vintage or sutin
then you're officially allowed to dick about with it

Kroneys car is 98% aftermarket kit

(, Mon 16 Mar 2015, 14:04, Reply)
Kroney's car is about 4% aftermarket kit.
Contrary to popular belief, I'm not a rude boy. I'm a beardy 30 something with an expanding waistline and a brown ale fixation. When people like me start buying old cars, that's how you know they're a classic.
(, Mon 16 Mar 2015, 14:05, Reply)
Better than CQ's car anyway

My mate just bought a 7.2l Jensen Interceptor. Now THATS a classic.

I think I'd weep every time I filled that up.

(, Mon 16 Mar 2015, 14:10, Reply)
Yes, it is.
Lots of cars are.

Inside a car is not a place to expect hi-fi quality anyway

Small space, wrong shape, NVH, etc do not make for a good listening area

(, Mon 16 Mar 2015, 14:15, Reply)
my car tells me what people have recently been listening to when I give them a lift
I'm not sure I approve of this
(, Mon 16 Mar 2015, 13:56, Reply)
I'm absolutely certain I don't.

(, Mon 16 Mar 2015, 13:57, Reply)
I think I would only approve if it also passed judgement on their tastes.

(, Mon 16 Mar 2015, 14:01, Reply)
How does it know?

(, Mon 16 Mar 2015, 14:03, Reply)

(, Mon 16 Mar 2015, 14:24, Reply)
it just looks at them and thinks "clearly a Kylie loving woofter"
or alternatively the Bluetooth doohickey asks their phone for the most recent track details
