It's a pain in the arse to be absolutely fair.
It was the first time I've ever seen a girl hike their skirt up and take a shit in the middle of a tent. It wasn't the last time I saw it either that weekend.

in a way it's doing a service to all the proper festivals
by keeping the dull bands and filthy plebs locked up

so thanks for that

The place is amazingly grim.
When a colostomy bag is being thrown from person to person in the crowd, you just want Hitler to come back and refocus his efforts.
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 10:43, Reply)
we just go for the day
drinking booze in the sun with your mates is always going to be a good day out, even if most of the bands are really blah. i was excited about the stone roses, but the years have not been kind. i did enjoy laughing at how shit ian brown was though. poor sod can't sing a note these days.

the beyonce put on a good show, but fucking hell love, just stand still and sing, stop making us wait in the rain whilst you change costumes for the 30th time in a 30 min set.
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 10:43, Reply)
Anyone who performs costume changes during a festival set needs a kick in the cunt.

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 10:46, Reply)
these days?

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 10:47, Reply)
that's take that
silly sporters

Jon Bovi FTW

His show in Manchester a few years back was one of my more pleasant days at work.

ian brown has always sounded like that
I think I've heard him sing in tune once in about a dozen gigs and I'm pretty sure that was a fluke
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 10:54, Reply)
also ... there are a million places to drink beer with your mates
why would you choose one full of shit-lobbing chavs and crap music?
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 10:56, Reply)
just exactly how many accounts are you currently logged in with?

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 10:58, Reply)
some bits of it were good
we avoided the bits that were shit. something different to do innit.

we don't all sit on train platforms drinking whiskey out of a brown paper bag.
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 11:04, Reply)
cool
you stick with the grimmer than all fuck shitfests and leave the decent festivals for the people who actually like festivals
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 11:06, Reply)
yep
quite happy to leave slobbing around in a tent and shitting in a bucket to ghastly old hippies and go somewhere decent if it's for the full weekend.
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 11:10, Reply)
If that's the way you think it works, you need to get out more.

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 11:28, Reply)
Or stay in more.

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 11:29, Reply)
i'd rather travel and see other cultures
than a load of embarrassing old pricks in tie-dyed t-shirts and bumbags munching funny brownies and pretending they're still 18
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 12:10, Reply)
the only festival that sounds like is V

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 12:28, Reply)
Avoiding bits that are shit at V-Festival is a bit like avoiding bits of the sea that are wet.

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 11:11, Reply)
There's nothing nicer than drinking beer in the sunshine with some friends
particularly if you're watching Beyoncé in the rain surrounded by chavs
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 11:14, Reply)
true, it's not the same as cramming 4 stinking people who haven't showered for 3 days into a tent and thinking drugs are cool when you're nearly 60, maaaaan

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 11:15, Reply)
k

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 11:20, Reply)
i've been to better things
but they were a decent enough couple of days out.

the food was properly shit though. how can you fuck up a microwave pizza that badly.
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 11:14, Reply)
you're talking to festival veterans, pet
you're really on to a loser trying to persuade anybody that V is anything other than an appalling bland chavfest
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 11:17, Reply)
god, what an awful thing to be
try going on a real holiday/weekend away, not rolling around in a field convincing yourself that it's fun.

ps: wales doesn't count

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 12:07, Reply)
cool

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 12:14, Reply)
well
only if you think calling a trip to wales a "holiday" and then posting on here throughout is "cool"
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 12:18, Reply)
k

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 12:27, Reply)
i think everyone felt quite sorry for you
we could have a whipround and try to get you a flight to somewhere decent.

prolly be one way though.
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 12:28, Reply)
that's sweet, pet
but you're a only a lowly lawyer and you still get your holidays paid for by daddy
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 12:30, Reply)
bless, you have no idea

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 12:38, Reply)
oh do enlighten me
what does a property squabbler earn in London? 70k? 80k?

you're hardly Rockefeller, pet
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 12:53, Reply)
like i say
you have no idea.

stick to telling yourself that a semi with a seriously ugly garden is a good result in life.
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 12:57, Reply)
under 70k then
should have done a real degree, eh?
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 13:08, Reply)
what, at the "university" of birmingham? lol
you're way out, pet. and you have no idea about other interests/background. now off you go, back to telling yourself that your little patch of scrubby grass is a "garden". at least you might convince yourself.
(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 13:11, Reply)
you really are easy

(, Wed 8 Apr 2015, 13:13, Reply)
not as easy as your wife
