Who looks at profiles?

Who goes looking and why?

I know b3tans are an odd lot and sometimes I'll look at someone's profile to discover if they're entitled to speak bollocks because they've posted lots of things and seem like an all round good person.

And there are also some b3tans who are on my Friends list, I've met in real life and are Facebook friends too, yet I've never once glanced at their profile.

I've recently put a counter back onto my profile (I had one about 18 months ago and removed it for various reasons) and I'm astounded when I add bits onto my profile (like a pic of my cat shopped by Raindance) at how many visits it's received.

So who is looking?!

I look at people's profiles lots of times.
Sometimes they can change and I want to see.

I look
I tend to look at people who have replied to my QOTW answers cos I am just THAT egotistical.

And I looked before the bash to see if anyone had pics so I'd recognise them (before I realised the flickr thing was there).

And just because, I too, am a nosey bastard.

It's just a jpg image I put on there so I can pretend to myself that I'm actually quite popular...

I'm a bit anal about the colour scheme
I like all my friends' names in green, so when they return to blue after a while I have to click on their names again, but not necessarily reading their profile again if I have done so already. All green friends is nice and orderly in my head.

Other than that, if someone's being a tosser I might check their profile to see if the tosserness is consistent. Then they show up in green which is incongruous with my fluffeh friends so I have to ignore the tossers - just to keep things neat.

I've recently looked at the profile of everyone who has replied, with the exception of J_T_W, but he's been away for a while...

I'm hugely curious and am usually overwhelmed by my desire to just know. so I have to look at these things

I look at
MissKitty's and Madame Marlboros profiles. A lot. In a stalkerish kind of way. I cant decide who I like more. I've settled for both at the same time. In my head.

That's what they're there for, right? Why would you put content in there if you didn't expect people to look?

I know it doesn't MATTER how many posts people have in board/talk or how how long they've been a member, or how many QOTW answers they liked... but it kinda does... doesn't it? Really?

Plus I absolutely love reading peoples best QOTW answers :)
