Been awfully hard *cough* to get on *cough* recently. Our PC was having problems and I had to fight the girls for a shot of the laptop.
all fixed now. Thank dog. Talking of dogs, I came across *cough* this earlier and it made me laugh til I nearly wee'd.

( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 19:36, Reply)

I thought of you earlier - I was watching (well okay drooling over) a certain C Eccleston as the Doctor. Mmmmmmmmmm.
How be you?
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 19:41, Reply)

Hasn't I?
*EDIT* No I hasn't! Hello Witchy, I is good, ta.
Eccleston should have done another series in my humble geeky opinion.
How's you?
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 19:41, Reply)

how the heck does he make the colours at the top keep changing? I'm not clever enough.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 19:41, Reply)

being neither young nor geeky, I'll just admire it. Agree with you on Eccleston. He was fab. I used to be terrified of the Daleks as a kid, and they still make me a bit tense now. For him, though, yeah, I'd take them on.
I is good. Just been to parents night and got a fabby report on our youngest. Takes after her mum, of course!

Heh. Willy.

How are my lovelies this fine evening?
I'm much better than I was earlier, and I've eaten a bril Spag Bol which I made myself.
It didn't even poison anybody, yet. ;)
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 20:09, Reply)

All this talk of food had caused the thread to get all sleepy.
*sads*
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 20:16, Reply)

we had spag bol as well. My daughter made it (and a tremendous mess as well) and it was all of teh luvverly.
Took me twenty minutes to clean the hob, but hey ho. Nobody's perfect.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 20:16, Reply)

That somebody else cooked, not the cleaning up bit.
I just wish I had somebody that would let me experiment in the kitchen, or cook for me for a change!
Don't get me wrong I love cooking, but I get fed up doing the same old things all the time.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 20:21, Reply)

and I'll put the girl on the next train. I'll warn you, though, she hogs the internet access, the TV remote, the telephone and the bathroom.
Very polite and chatty though. Makes lovely cakes, too. God bless standard grade home economics!
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 20:24, Reply)

Fresh spaghetti with tinned crab, parsley, garlic, bread crumbs and chilli flakes. Add some salt and lemon juice and Bob's your auntie.
I could eat that till it came out my ears.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 20:25, Reply)

but I have to go and supervise bath and bed time now. You'd think my husband would be able to manage ...... just kidding.
My youngest gets in the bath and has a high old time playing, but completely forgets to wash! I do confess to having a wee shot of the bath toys myself from time to time ... but the ones she had when she was littler were more fun!
*hugs* for everyone

How I would love that, somebody else to cook, my brother to clean, I'd be in hog heaven.
Cakes are the one thing I've never got the hang of.
But I don't tink my brother would like it, he can be a bit fussy.
But as I tell him he never cooks to piss off, and then I still end up cooking the same stuff.

I've been out up in town for a few drinks and am now back in camberwell.
How are we all this fine evening?
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 20:46, Reply)

In this economy it's hard for us struggling gigolos to make a living.
I had a couple in the Yorkshire Grey and am now happily ensconsed in the Funky Munky! :-)
How's youz?
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 20:55, Reply)

OK, thanks. About to go and nom some nommy fresh pasta then watch the last 2 episodes of Buffy series 3...
It's like painting the Forth bridge - get to end of series 7, then repeat... We're onto the fifth viewing now.
Or we may do series 1 - 5 of Angel, then start Buffy again
*EDIT* 'lo Bill. Or Phil. Or whatever you're calling yourself these days.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 20:58, Reply)

I know what you mean man, this is hurting us all!
DG I bet it's all of teh lully. It seams to be pasta night for everybody!
Well I'm staying away from Buffy atm, got it all, and I really should start watching it again. ;)
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 21:06, Reply)

I really shouldn't be suprised when no-one recognises a lyric from an late 60s psychedelic rock song.
You can carry on calling me Bill. :-)
All this talk of pasta is making me think I really should go and get some food.

So what have I missed?
I read Tourette's post on getting a new tattoo and was looking for a pic of an abstract heart tattoo I found ages ago.
I failed.
I then tried to draw it.
Epic fail.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 21:34, Reply)

Did you have pasta for you're diner? It seams like everybody else did.
An abstract heart tattoo, could be good, but it would depend on how abstract.
I'll have to wait till some time after xmas to get my phoenix, this makes me sad:(
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 21:40, Reply)

You could tell it was a heart!
I had chilli con carni. nom nom nom nom nom

So how have you been since last we talked :)

Apply for lots of jobs - CHECK
Think of more places to try tomorrow - CHECK
Snuggle up in bed - Still to do
And that will be checked soon! I should really go take my contacts out though my eyes are tired and twitchy!
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 21:45, Reply)

God I'm full of telling people what to do today! I don't know just what's wrong with me.
Snuggling up in bed sounds all of teh lully. I may just have to join you figuratively of course. Don't lknow why but I'm kind of tired today, maybe I should sleep before two in the morning when I have to get up at six!
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 21:50, Reply)

How're we all this fine and wonderous evening?
Only one day of fucking work to go before I have a glorious 5 day weekend (after working stoopid amounts) and I can be plugged into t'interweb.
Brucy bonus is that I've managed to accrue a disgusting amount of expense claims and haven't had a beer in 5 days ..... Yay for sobriety and filthy lucre!
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 21:55, Reply)

Bed is full of win Dok :)
I am going to rewhore myself to the agencies tomorrow. Fecking useless agencies *gwumble gwumble*
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 21:57, Reply)

Not too shabby, abut boo on the lack of beer, you'll have to sort that out sharpish.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 21:59, Reply)

Sorry, didn't read above and posted blindly .... Rather insensitive of me. I hate agencies, when I had to use them I found them to be ineffectual fuckwits who would gladly bleed an orphan for a quid. A necessary evil though.
Hey Dok, I'm quite enjoying it really .... I've not woken up with a raging headache and the taste of what appears to be gerbil shit in my mouth.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 22:00, Reply)

You're on my list of people who have to buy me a pint now though :p
If you didn't dip your cock in it either that would be grand.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 22:02, Reply)

Ah go on, I'll stand by my debt - No cock stirring though.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 22:04, Reply)

Good, I like waking up without a hangover as well, it's fun.
Badger You are right, I heart Bed, but my room is cold and I've nobody to snuggle with :(
Not all agencies are bad, I've never had a good experience, but I know people who have.
EDIT Swanny don't use your knob like that, it's a waste of a pint.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 22:08, Reply)

is the abilty to sit in irritating smugness at those who imbibed the night before and the feeling of righteousness when I watched drunken hoons staggering through Hillsborough as I drove home the other night :D
My bed is looking seriously attractive atm. Bed is fucking good.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 22:14, Reply)

watching drunken folks when you're sober, and then again the next morning when they cannot function properly.
Agency staff are on my list of people I want to "Stab in the Eye".
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 22:17, Reply)

After years of being the comedy drunk I now rather like the feeling of being the only sensible person in the room.
Possibly a QOTW? "Fuckers who you'd like to stab in the eye". No points for Peter Sutcliffe ... He's bindun :)
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 22:21, Reply)

QOTW, I'd have a shedload of answers for that one.
I too have been the comedy drunk, it's fun at the time, but then again you don't realise that a lot of folks are just taking the piss most of the time. I try not to be now though.
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 22:25, Reply)

It's not good. Everyone think's they're hi-fuckin'-larious when they're drunk but in fact are invariably a social millstone.
On that cheery note I'm scuttling off to bed. Have fun ones people and I'll catch you after work tomorrow. Nighty night.

( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 23:04, Reply)

I need no further procrastination time tonight :)
I've had them for ages Herr Dok, but have only just gotten around to uploading them all and transferring them. I seem to be doing a lot of filing this week as it's pretty quiet at work, so I might as well listen to something awesome!
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 23:07, Reply)

I wish I could listen to musicat work, even when I've got nothing to do.

Will try out the game later.

*hugs back*
( , Tue 18 Nov 2008, 23:49, Reply)

It probably isn't, but I'll be up for another hour or so. I usually avoid eating before any physical activity. I just wish the class started an hour earlier so I can head straight from the office.
