"bit of a cock up on the catering front" (bonus points for identifying the quote)
I've settled in for the night and had enough to drink to stop me getting to any shops.
Trouble is, I have 3/4 of a litre of Bacardi, 1 thimble full of cokey cola and nothing else to mix it with.
Neat Barcardi makes me gag!
In the fridge I have (amongst other stuff)
1 litre of Tescos chocholate milk
Punnet of strawberries
Couple of pints of milk
4 pounds of tomatoes
bottle of soda water
blueberries
eggs
jif lemon juice
jif lime juice
1 bottle of cheap Rose wine
Use your latent cocktail bar skills to suggest a way of using these ingredients to enable me to get the Barcadi down me neck!
I promise to try the best suggestion by 9pm

The soda water with the lemon/lime juice
add Bicardi
Knock it back.
OR you could try and make a smoothy with the fruit and the chocolate but I dont know how successful that will be.

Add in the booze for a win.

throw the strawberries and some ice in a blender till smooth then mix with a generous double?
( , Fri 5 Dec 2008, 18:51, Reply)

Strawbs. Blueberries blended up eat that, just to be healthy, and then stop being a lightweight and just drink the beccardi
or don't drink at all; you don't have to.
Bacardi and Soda water can't be too bad can it?
( , Fri 5 Dec 2008, 19:07, Reply)

Then you won't care too much what the Bacardi tastes like.
What the feck are you doing with Bacardi any way?
( , Fri 5 Dec 2008, 19:14, Reply)

then come back *but bring the wolf with you* and then cross with the sheep
ace.
Rose, then the bacardi is the answer.
Talking of logic problems: microsoft used to ask everyone this at an interview- why are man hole covers round?

Blend the strawberries, blueberries, add the rum, blend, then add some milk until it's smooth enough to drink.
A dash of lime and you're set to go!

Well taking BGB's advice, the Rose is now out of the equation .... hic
The slightly girly Barcardi was a suprise out of the blue gift from a guy whose server I fixed months ago! Eeeeppp!
I like the sound of Bills Strawb Daquari and Myspaces Soda citrus combo ( I would rim the glass with salt for this one)
I have eggs ... how does one make an eggnog?
( , Fri 5 Dec 2008, 19:48, Reply)

It includes:
Whole milk, sugar, egg nog base (?) ,overproof rum, cognac & brandy
250 calories in 250ml carton... *buurp* :)

It;s so they don't fall down the holes.
windows vista is shit, though, so I can have the last laugh at those so called clever bastards.

severl large gins and then some, well, some more gin
( , Fri 5 Dec 2008, 19:59, Reply)

I whizzed up a load of the tomatoes in the blender and added some extra ingredients I have knocking around... i.e. garlic salt, celery salt and tabasco and worcester sauce.
There is a slight "odd" taste using Barcardi rather than Vodka .... but the hit of the freshly zapped tomatoes covers it.
This makes drinking almost healthy! yes .... ?
ahem!

You'd have to carefully line it up before closing it whereas a round one can go back in any orientation.

A square , rectangle, other straight edged shape can fall through its own profile if turned in the correct way , wheras a lipped circle cannot fall through its own profile no matter how it is turned.

Just whizzed up the stawberries .. dash of lime big slug of barcardi and a dash of soda to give it a bit of life.
