HTML text editor
Hi you lot.

I hope you're all enjoying time off, leftover turkey and old Sinbad movies!

I'm an old-school Notepad html editor, although I haven't done any coding for years. I'm slinging a site together for my charity and I'm looking for a good html/text editor. I thought I'd ask here for advice.

It doesn't need to be wysiwyg, I don't need anything flashy, just a text editor with tag highlighting etc.

Recommendations please!

Well
You could use a demo version of dreamweaver, it's easy enough to get a hold of. The download is huge mind. Or, Evrsoft's 1st Page 2006 is a brilliant little piece of software.

Visit www.evrsoft.com/1stpage3.shtml for more details.

And here are some screenshots:

Notepad+ is good
I'd also recommend SciTE as a good all round editor with highlighting for lots of different languages.
