I was wondering if you'd do this today :)
Hope you're well - I'm flitting between here and a blog post.

I'm ok, but slightly disturbed by this weird tranny looking doll
How does this morning find you then?

I am currently searching for legal options, I have a client who is trying to skip out of payment for a website. Everything was done as she agreed, and now apparently asking for payment constitutes harassment, and she is threatening police. Well, if she wants to play it that way, can anyone say "CCJ"?

Is it time for bed again yet?
I really needed a lie in, and got called out.
Because someone forgot their password.
Ergh.
Edit: Lusty,
If it is anatomically correct, does it have a cock under that dress?
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 9:24, Reply)

I'm really not sure.
I don't think they're really meant to look like men. They just ended up that way.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 9:30, Reply)

You were called out... for a password reset? Jesus, at least we can call people stupid for that.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 9:32, Reply)

Only popping in to say hello as I'm off to Alexandra Palace in a little bit to go ice skating =D
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 9:37, Reply)

Morning! They've turned the heating right down over Christmas in the office. It'll not return until Monday, when the place re-opens. I'm fecking freezing.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 9:43, Reply)

My boss asked me to use my own headphones to listen to a call on my PC yesterday.
I said, "No".
It's not a question of meanness - there's a principle involved here.

Make sure you don't fall over and hit that beautiful face of yours.
@Enzyme. I now have a mental image of you as some kind of modern day Bob Cratchit.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 9:50, Reply)

My soft, luscious facial hair will protect me. Failing that I'm quite a good skater so I shouldn't fall over anyway =p I might try and push my sister over though...
:edit: And I'm gone! *woosh*
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 9:54, Reply)

I hope you all had a good christmas?
I have someone using my bank account to pay their bills, the bastard. Amount of money gone missing so far = 146 quid and I'm suspicious about another 45.
And a happy new year! :D
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 9:55, Reply)

Hmm true.
@PB
Yes indeed, thankfully I could do it remotely, a 2 hour round trip would not have made our friendship any friendlier.
@Kroney
That sucks, someone got a mobile from my credit card once.

They've done the same in this building. No heating till Monday. Since it's cold at the best of times, it's insane right now. We're thinking of quoting HSE regulations at them (building must be minimum of 16 degrees) and then fecking off home.
@Everyone else: morning! Good Christmasses?
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:07, Reply)

Although I don't get why we should be supporting people at a time of year when laziness isn't so much tolerated as encouraged.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:09, Reply)

Technically, I'm off until Monday - the whole University's closed until then. But I'm so far behind that I'm having to make up the time - I've spent far too much time on, er, b3ta. Damn.
And my house is even colder.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:10, Reply)

My house is below 16ยบ.
Does that mean I can force the health and safety people to give me heating?
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:13, Reply)

Nope. It only applies to places of work. If it's your home, or you're self-employed, I believe the HSE people will laugh at you and tell you to put another jumper on, I'm afraid.
I watched the BBC "The Box of Delights" on DVD over Christmas. Sheer, pure genius. Love it.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:17, Reply)

Is that the 1980s children's drama thingy? I seem to remember it having a kickass theme tune.
But I was young, so might just have been stupid. Stupider.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:19, Reply)

I don't remember seeing it the first time round (was only 2 years old, see), but Mr Empress got given the DVD for his birthday, we watched it together.
Theme tune is The First Nowell, with dingly dum-da-da-da-dum-dum-dum bits mixed in. Erm, that doesn't translate very well from hearing it in my head to writing it down. Oh well.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:22, Reply)

A merry between-Christmas-and-new-year to you. I never know what to do with this time of year.
I would second what The Empress said, and tell you just to put on another jumper Mrs Bin.
Also, I get to go travelling today =)
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:23, Reply)

I remembered correctly, then. I've got it running around my head now. It's the most Christmassy I've been all month.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:24, Reply)

I'm heading into work soon, but thought I'd stop off and say hi.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:25, Reply)

I made Enzyme Christmassy. Only 5 days late!
I've also got the theme tune in my head. It's a hell of a lot better than the "Talk Radio" Vanessa Felch show that's in the office. I'm going to retreat into my head and listen to my own singing instead of that annoying bint.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:28, Reply)

I have a cold, but nothing much to write home about, so mostly fine thanks. How are you doing?
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:28, Reply)

Apart from a sore throat. And I'm heading off to Ireland today for new year, which should be good.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 10:30, Reply)

I didn't say I'd been made Christmassy. I just said it was the most Christmassy I'd been. That's still not very Christmassy at all.

Ok, it seems No31 killed the thread...
Murderer!!

OT is quiet today so I'm lurking in /talk. They crack me up, honestly. I think I might even be ready to post in like six, maybe seven months.
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 13:32, Reply)

yup, I've been lurking in /talk too.
I wonder who Fat Bird is? A regular doing some trolling, or a genuine newbie?
( , Tue 30 Dec 2008, 13:40, Reply)

I'm still trying to get my head around it all. But it's amusing.
Less so when certain parties come over this way and run the threads off with crap. Such is life.

My G/F has finally started chucking stuff away from her old house that she's been hoarding for no good reason. Quite cathartic for her as all of it was associated with her ex.
Lunch at her local village pub, then took her Jack Russell puppy for a 5 mile walk over the local fields, there's nothing funnier than watching a small dog bounding through grass taller than her!
Lamb dinner tonight.
Today is a good day my friends.
