Sporadic correspondent The Disappointed
Reporting for duty but suffering dodgy guts and shitting rusty water on a regular basis.

I normally have the constitution of an Ox and am surprised and unsettled by this turn of internal events.

Evening DG
I thought I'd save you from threadb0rk, but I have to be off to Tai Chi soon.

EDIT: Evening Disappointed. That does not sound good. * gives virtual hug *

Two bands - Depeche Mode and JAMC - that have never really been mined by the Simon Cowell's of this world but came up with some incredible stuff.

Violator was written by Dave Gahan during 12 months in a hotel in LA when he lived on nothing but heroin and McDonalds.

Fuckin' beat that, Leona Lewis...

I'm jolly good ta :) My unemployed ass has been sent to government backed training. At the very least, it gives me something to do with my Days. How about yourself chuck?

Just a bog-standard day at work.

Anyway, I have to go off to my Tai-Chi class.

Bye.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2009, 19:54, Reply)
So
Is that the end of that?

I hope not because I'm feeling very ropey and I'm needing some moral support to get me through to a Phil Ochs documentary at 22.30.

And then there's the cricket....

I don't do football, I don't do rugby. I love - I've always loved - cricket.

What a mess.

Evening TD
Have you put yourself on the map? That's reputed to balance the humours, you know.

Here's the map!

I've been looking at the map.

I'm not sure that I'm having the skills to put myself upon it.

Also - is it where I'm from originally - I'm immensely proud of my heritage - or where I am now which is economically necessitated?

I have a day off tomorrow. If you can clarify the parameters I will master the skills of inserting myself upon the map.

Map meanderings
I reckon for it to be useful it should be where you are now. Although, if you have crash space somewhere e.g. parents, why not put a pin there too? You can do bashes there, which was sort of my original idea behind doing it.

If you have a google account, you can add yourself; otherwise, you can gaz me with a locale and I'll add you. Say part of a postcode or your nearest rail station or the postcode of your local pub. Whatever you're comfortable with.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2009, 20:47, Reply)

well, i'd probably roger just about anything for the right price...

I have no shame.

If you're happy to add me to the map then I'll gaz you. I'd like a dog - shaped map pin though if you can summon one up.
(, Tue 10 Mar 2009, 20:53, Reply)
No dogs here
But there are a bunch of icons - think map things e.g. tents, activities, weather, food, transport etc.

Dog Done
I went to images.google.com and searched for dog icon. Finally found one I could use and fiddled with it to make the background transparent.

It still shows up with a damn white square round it, don't know how to fix that.

No - I've been in Westyorkshireland for a long time and I'm acclimatised.

I'll not name the institution responsible because the food there is normally spot on.

Think it's time to hit the nest.

TLIC - I'll check your results in the morning.

The Disappointed - retiring hurt.
