this morning babyblaireau and i will be mostly listening to Mingus (the black saint and the sinner lady) and Belle and Sebastian (dear catastrophe waitress). so come on in, spin some vinyl and cut a rug... (or just sit quietly in a corner if you like!)

the way forward?
so where was it gave you teh 'lag?
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 9:37, Reply)
so about as jetlaggy as one can get. Still, I don't think I'm doing too badly - arrived home at 8.30am yesterday after 41 hours of travel, napped and then slept from 8.30pm last night until 5 this morning.
Gotta get back on track before the Edinbash!
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 9:39, Reply)
unless you went to space? i wonder what "rocket lag" is like. no doubt some 2-brainer on the interweb could answer that for me...
so when the chuff is this f1 gonna start? side 1 of mingus finished...
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 9:46, Reply)
I had to make my own image because I couldn't find a "Home Sour Home" one, and by the time I did you'd started a regular thread.
Right this second I am listening to Papercranes, "Treasure".
In about 5 minutes I'm going to go watch a Grand Prix, though.
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 9:47, Reply)
About 10 minutes I think, B69. Stick a long track on.
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 9:49, Reply)
This is because, due to various reasons, my friend and I spent one day lying around in our pyjamas eating junk food and watching the entire LOTR Trilogy, extended version.
I gazzed Wookiee and said, 'It's like looking out of the window, only with more elves.'
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 9:53, Reply)
nearly 11 minutes of pure genius!!
you dig it? oh man that's SWEET i tell ya, hot dog!
starts off with the most amazing drumming that had ever been etched on vinyl...
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 9:54, Reply)
Sounds like fun.
Time for the cars!
Roll on lunchtime GPs - the "Sausage, Bacon and Egg Baguette" place doesn't open until 10. :(
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 9:55, Reply)
I need to make sure I've got bacon in for a Grand Prix Sunday. I'm going to have to settle for a pork pie.
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 10:12, Reply)
black pudding: 1 slice.
smoked back bacon (local, organic, dry-cure): 2 rashers.
eggs (large, organic, free-range): 2
bread (homemade, organic, rye, sourdough): half a loaf.
hp baked beans: 2 tins.
mmmmmmmmmmnom.
as well as plenty of coffee,

I woke up this morning with the Fella cuddling into me. Hurrah, I thought, sexytiem! So I moved in for a nuzzle. "Enjoy your lie-in" he said, leaping out of bed and downstairs to turn the telly on. So here I still am, on my own, while car noises fill the house.
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 10:55, Reply)

the love of F1. Well, actually I don't, I understand the love of WRC, but F1 is just cars going round in circles. However, I accept it.
But today was our last morning at home together before he moves to Ireland. Oh well... perhaps it's a cunning plan to ensure that I don't miss him all that much when he goes...

i only left the room for to get more coffee and i come back to see Noah running around looking for planks and nails and animals...

"Filipe baby, stay cool!
We'll bring you the white visor!"
Clenders, better put him back in your pocket to keep him dry.
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 11:08, Reply)
am going to get up, change my bedclothes and wash them and hang them outside to dry because the sun is shining like mad out there.
Slater!
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 11:08, Reply)
But still, come on...why not carry on? It's fun to watch!
Beekers, I quite like the idea of Wet Massa ;)
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 11:08, Reply)
I think they should just carry on. Bunch of wusses!
@ clenders
I thought you might:)

If I was Tim O'Glock I'd want the race to continue so I could get 8 points for second instead of 4.

without them surely i wouldn't burst!
an utterly nom-tastic fry-up.
must lie down...

I decided to skip the breakfast baguette as it's too close to lunch now. And I'm going up the pub for a slap-up meal.

Last night was pre-wedding drinkies. My head won't let me forget it.
Uuuuurgh.
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 13:37, Reply)
Indeed I shall.
I will go outside,
get of all me kit,
lie down,
and have the biggest wank in the universe.
When I come, It will reach the sky,
and rain down,
impregnating all the women,
who will bear my offspring.
These offspring,
will grow up to be my army.
I shall grow a tache and conquer the world
and rule from an airship that shoots lightning-bolts.
Does anyone else have any plans for world domination?

EDIT: wooo! go DG! party hard. :P
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 14:00, Reply)
You know perfectly well we know you're a non-cock girlie. Oh well, I'm sure my arousal will help out with the plan I mentioned a few posts above.
@DG: Nice one. I'll be there in thought. Will the "You may now kiss the bride" bit happen at 4pm?
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 14:06, Reply)
and you won't impregnate me. I'll carry an umbrella.
(, Sun 5 Apr 2009, 14:09, Reply)
@DG: Looks like we'll have to make it last for 15 minutes this week...
@VC: I wouldn't worry about that. I was just thinking of creating a West-London sized spunk-cloud - not a planet-wide spunk-cloud. If I did, the world would probably be plunged into a the darkenss of a planet-wide jizz-winter.

I've been working like a massive cunt all weekend so have missed out on silliness and meme based humour.
On the upside I have earned lots of filthy cash money but on the downside have another 13 days at work until a reasonable period off.
It's all a lump of cunt but hey ho! Assuming all are well and groovy.
Hugs & shit x
