I have new compulsive viewing
Snog, Marry, Avoid on BBC3.

Take the tackiest, most fake, badly-dressed, over-made-up Jodie Marsh wannabes, put them in front of the Personal Overhaul Device (or POD) who slags off their fashion sense for a few minutes then gives them a make-under - the reverse of a make-over - usually transforming them into bright, attractive people.

It's not the sort of thing I usually watch, but I really like the overriding theme - accepting natural beauty instead of fakery - so much so that I let daughter stay up half an hour late to watch it.

Plus, it's presented by the cutest Atomic Kitten, Jenny Frost *purrs*

Have you seen it? What do you think?

have not even heard of it until you mentioned it
but the first tv show I remember my parents letting me "stay up" to watch was Friends.

I like it
I want a copy of every episode, so I can force my children to watch it should I a) ever have any, and b) they start turning in to Jodie Marsh.

Potters
it's a little unnerving that you want your children to look like hookers. But hey! to each their own :p

I think his point is
they should watch it to avoid that issue :)

The scary thing is I never realised there were so many Jodie Marsh wannabees till I started watching this.
I think the punk/goth types are ok but the others are just fucked up women and are surprised to realise they only get attention from dodgy blokes because they walk around half naked.

In the vein of VC's answer...
The first thing I remember my parents letting me stay up past my bedtime to watch was Arachnaphobia

Scared the shit out of me!

I rather enjoy this
The missus makes me watch it most nights - Jodie Marsh was on last night which was quite amusing.

Have you seen the one with the girl who goes out in her underwear? Nothing else, just bra and knickers! Fuckin cheap that is!!!

Any post yet VC?
