Are you a QOTWer? Do you want to start a thread that isn't a direct answer to the current QOTW? Then this place, gentle poster, is your friend.

I would imagine that you all agree that the best thing that could happen to a 14 year old girl who bullies other people is that they could be raped and then commit suicide.

Maybe a pinch on the arse and a comment on her wearing too much makeup would suffice?

And then years down the line they got raped and murdered.
I can't say I wouldn't have a wee smirk to myself.

or a QOTW post or one of your sexual fantasies?

that perhaps it was taken out of context, hence my reply to the post in question.

I, for one, think that the "Result!" part of it was referring to her being taken to a different school unit. At least, I hope so.

that so many people are going fucking insane over this story.
How many of you, having written the same thing, would have thought to check for grammar and possibly misconstrued meanings?
I see a lot of anger in there, and possibly, (and on my part, definitely), he didn't feel like re-reading to check it. I sincerely doubt that CP felt any kind of joy/smugness/justice over anything over than the fact that the bully was removed from the school.

It's getting fun. I can smell the thatch of whole villages burning as the mob meanders towards the Cap'n's house.

Ironic on a QOTW about bullying, don't you think? But I am intrigued; I keep checking to see if he's shown up to defend himself and settle the "it's a grammar mistake" / "he's a cunt" argument.

he wouldn't have posted what is a rather unpleasant tale.

you obviously do care - even if your stories aren't 100% TRUFAX

which is true (there have been one, or two, actually, might just be one) then I'm prepared to be judged on that and defend my opinion.
If you're going to post something as inflammatory as that, and I'm not convinced at all that its a grammatical error, then you shouldn't be surprised if people judge you for it and I for one would like to hear his response since I've met him and I previously thought he was a nice bloke.

Just read the post in question. I'd like to give the Captain the benefit of the doubt and hope that the result comment was referencing the getting the lass expelled rather than for what happened to her.
I wonder if some of those incensed repliers were similarly up in arms when my missus' post from a few months back was being randomly cut, pasted and made a joke of. Hmm?

(...though I can't say I'll lose any sleep over it)

but you do have a habit of popping up in threads and throwing in counter arguments to whatever has been said. It may just be coincidental that you actually do have an opposing view. But I also had a feeling that you were a meat puppet for someone else.
If that's not true, then again, sorry, no hard feelings I hope.

I do like winding up /talker trolls, but usually by challenging them and taking the piss. Or sometimes feeding a bit of rope in to see how far people'll take their arguments. Thought these traits were obvious...maybe not. And antagonising JMG is just good sport.
Not a meat puppet either, just a(nother) random git.
No offence taken. It's all good. It's only the internet, ffs! :-)
I'll have to go away and re-read some of my old posts now...

For a comedy character, he doesn't know how to keep his distance and not get drawn into debates.
(, Fri 15 May 2009, 15:56, Reply)
makes him too wide a target. Five years is a long time to stick with the same character. If he's not careful, he'll end up as type cast as Pat Butcher.
Talking of funny characters, I wonder who Bert's going to be next? (Or was Bert really real?)
(, Fri 15 May 2009, 16:02, Reply)
I met him. I've had my tongue in his mouth.
I'm a bit worried about him now actually, he's dissapeared.
(, Fri 15 May 2009, 16:07, Reply)
Didn't think he was serious...couldn't really follow the flow of paranoia to be honest.
Hopefully he'll come back.
