I get to take an actual proper day off this weekend for the first time in a month. Now what can I do?

Do you? Think outside the box now.

Pfft. Lets face it... you were the one asking an internet forum what to do on your day off....

You can get the train to Bradford chop-chop and give me a hand.
I've been at it since 07.00 this morning and all I've managed to achieve so far is an unholy mess...

But unfortunately I don't really want to go to Bradford.

If I can get this wreck of a house into some sort of respectable order I can sell it and move to somewhere a little more pleasant.
Racial strife is boiling again here - the BNP are on a big offensive (in both senses of the word) for the local elections.

I'm denigrating my efforts a bit.
I'm not doing too badly - ahead of schedule although I've been at it 15 hours.
Toilet replaced painlessly, bath out, two new joists in with assistance from brother-in-law.
Have to work Sunday but I have the rest of next week off.
I'd like to be finished by Wednesday so I can watch our brave boys whoop the asses of the the Windies at Headingley on Thursday with a sense of achievement.

Simple, sounds boring but su much fun when you wake up naturally and you feel all warm and cosy, not wanting to get up...
