Champions League...
I'm not going to be watching it tonight, but I feel I should make something clear.

I really really hope Man Utd lose. Not just because I'm a scouse fan, I'm not that immature.

But because I've spent the entire day trawling through status after status of 'OMG we r goin to bata Barca' and other shite like that.

You have the most cocky fans in the premiership by a country mile, that's why I nearly died laughing when I saw fans of yours crying after we beat you 5-1.

It was a great day.

I concur
I hope all the fans get stabbed in the buttocks as well

With giant Italian or Spanish cocks.

My dad
will make me watch this despite knowing that I really don't like football.

I'd do anything for my dad though coz he's ace so I don't mind to much

I'm not watching it
And am taking great delight informing my fella, my boss's son, all who ask, that no, I do not feel like I'm missing out.

Nancy boys running around a pitch howling when the ball hits them, while morons off the pitch attempt to kill each other in as gruesome a form as possible.

Stereotyping? Me?

Cling to the 5.1 mate....
...that is all you have this year.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:17, Reply)
And...
don't forget the 2-1 as well!

Nah, I admit, I have no problem with your record this year, it's been brilliant, and I've thoroughly enjoyed the league.

Just don't hold onto the title too hard, we'll have it off you next year. (I hope)
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:22, Reply)
I tried to forget that too...
...but the tears were streaming down my face as I typed.

Yes - it did fucking hurt.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:25, Reply)
I shall be playing Fallout 3
because I would rather wander a post-apocalyptic wasteland with guns than watch football.

But hey, that's just me.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:19, Reply)
Sounds like...
...Elland Road.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:20, Reply)
Ha Ha!
I dont get it
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:20, Reply)
Leeds home ground
...
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:22, Reply)
Yeah, I had to Google it
I have never been to Leeds so I wouldnt dare comment
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:23, Reply)
\whispers
It's the home of Leeds United and their particularly violent support.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:22, Reply)
It's also a wasteland

(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:25, Reply)
My brother went to Leeds as a neutral to watch a match (against Northampton perhaps)
He said the actual ground is really nice with a great bar. But then he lives in Cheltenam and Whaddon Road is a bit crappy.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:25, Reply)
Whaddon Road is a palace...
...compared to the mighty Gloucester City home ground which was flooded two years ago - they now play 'home' games in Cirencester 17 miles away.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:28, Reply)
I saw photos of the Gloucester pitch a few months back
it was literally turning into a forrest. A sad sight indeed.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:30, Reply)
I'm hoping...
...that my other half won't want to watch it. If he does I'll probably go and play Little Big Planet! :)
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:24, Reply)
I want Man Utd to win
only so that Enlish clubs will have won it the most.

I still dare to dream of seeing Leicester City lift the Champions League Trophy.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:26, Reply)
Never happen
Although it's Barry's dream as well
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:28, Reply)
Actually I'd rather see Leicester City win the FA Cup
Did you know we've been in the final more times than any other team
without winning it
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:30, Reply)
Don't you mean 'THEY'
By saying 'we' you imply that you do, or did, play for them.

sorry
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:40, Reply)
We refers to the football club, which includes the fans
Don't be pedantic
pedantic and wrong.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:41, Reply)
Fucking hell that was a remarkably restrained responce
considering someone else was cast iron wrong about something online as well as being a cock about it.

You're losing your touch old man.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:43, Reply)
There was a little 'sorry' there
which implies my tongue was firmly placed in cheek

sorry

And thanks for being gentle.

(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:46, Reply)
Still, we're out of "League 1" at last
(aka Division 2, which was previously Division 3...honestly, why do they keep fucking around with all these silly names?)
hopefully we won't be sinking that low again. FA Cup could still be a little way off.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 17:13, Reply)
I hate people who pass of the "wisdom" from a comedy sketch show as their own
to belittle people.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:50, Reply)
I don't hate Friz

(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:51, Reply)
I did say sorry
Look, it's right there!

Don't make me sad.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:53, Reply)
I hope you die of aids

(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:55, Reply)
I'll fuck you up the arse
and infect you before I do :0)
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 16:56, Reply)
Agreed.
I'm getting severely pissed off with every news outlet and the like bigging up the fact that the whole of England are supporting Man U because they're English. Am I fuck! I hope Barca completely cream them and hopeful Messi can break Ronaldo's leg to top the night off.
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 18:25, Reply)
Also...
Don't you mean 4-1?
(, Wed 27 May 2009, 18:27, Reply)
I agree.
Reminds me of the classic

"How do you confuse a Man Utd fan?
Ask them where Manchester is"

I just hope Man Utd go out and play football, as opposed to Chelsea turning up and standing 10 men on the goalline.

P.S. 0-2 to a future Championship team???
