Oh, come on
You put up a poll like that, of course we're all going to vote for Alcatraz!

You should masturbate your way across America.
Of course POIDH applies.

alcatraz...
is a little boring, frankly. napa wine tours are way way more fun.

I thought Alcatraz was quite interesting when I visited.
But in the words of Bottom (Live)...

HAVE A WANK!

i donno
old jail, vs. scenic countryside, loads of world-class vino, and great food. plus the added frisson of being on an earthquake fault line.
(, Thu 28 May 2009, 20:54, Reply)
ooh wait.
she could have a wank at alcatraz, then have a relaxing afterglow in napa valley.

Not worried about earthquakes -

If you get the chance
Go to Yosemite. It's a long trip, but well worth it.

Would love to go to Yosemite,
but am only up norf for 2 nights! That's gonna be a camping/fishing trip next year!

try and stay
at the fairmont if you can. great views (including of alcatraz), loads of history, and 40 napa/sonoma single-vineyard wines by the glass in the lobby bar.

Staying at the Downtown Hilton
and have booked dinner at Crabhouse 39 for Saturday night.
I'm also going to take the remainder of mums ashes up with me, and sprinkle them in the Bay as we loved going to SF together.

beer stuff
anchor brewing's about 5 miles from the hilton, and has daily tours. and if you go to haight-ashbury, there's a great little brewpub called magnolia's. they make a barley wine with the best name ever called old thunderpussy. (the brewpub's on the site of a former erotic chocolate shop started by a burlesque dancer named magnolia thunderpussy).
