Immigration laws that block people from entering from sensible countries
I'd love to see the same immigration laws that we have under the EU extended to countries such as the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and for them to be extended back to us in return. It just... makes sense!

I can go and live anywhere in the EU I want
Dependent on the country, I may not be able to claim benefits (refunded from the EU as I am a UK citizen), and I may not be granted citizenship, right to vote etc etc. But I can go and live and work anywhere I want with no restrictions. For countries where we have excellent diplomatic reletionships such as those I've mentioned, why not extend the same rules as we have in the EU?

Why does the American government asume that everyone wants to live in their country rather than their own.
3rd world countries I can understand but Australia, the Uk etc. Hell we're better off where we are really. If we did want to move to the USA then it would be for a very good reason and not to sponge off the state. We can do that here.
