wrote a cracking new song with my band last night
thoroughly enjoyable.

also finally thought of a name for my song about smoking weed. it's called the Green Blues :-D

Tonight I will be mostly playing Risk and getting caned. The rest of the weekend involves garden work and entertaining the in-laws.

Your plans? GO!

Boring weekend again
Will mostly be involving sleep and coursework. Maybe trim the hedge if the weather is nice.

Right.
1. finish paper for midnight deadline
2. go running
3. go running some more
4. make an attempt to go fishing but then realise it's raining too heavily
5. run instead
6. do gardening

Green Blues is an ace name!
I'll be finally cooking brownies with daughter... normal brownies. A nice long walk, some housework, chess... I might go for a pint or two. Maybe a bottle of wine this evening...

*daydreams*

do people just give you cider a lot?
is it because you are a cider-piss smelling junkie and look like you need it?

Beer & DVDs tonight
'Risk' is an excellent game. I used to spend many hours playing that. We'd have a group of at least 6 people and play til the wee small hours.

As for the rest of the weekend, amuse minime, a spot of gardening, look after minime tomorrow night while the mrs goes out then visit my parent on Sunday.

fun and games!

Testing a theory
I shall be getting my drink on at a pub 1.8 miles away and them walking home to determine how long it takes to walk 1.8 miles when bladdered.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 9:50, Reply)
about 20 to 25 minutes

Is the pub on top of a hill?
Just roll home.

Sadly No
I am practicing for DiT's stag do, where the Porterhouse in Covent Garden is 1.8 miles from Victoria Coach Station (through Trafalgar Square, down The Mall and past Buckingham Palace - rather a nice walk).

Oh Dear.
Last weekend was bad enough. I ended up quite broken after drinking for 2 days with a Glaswegian. Tonight is my mates stag night. It could get quite rowdy. So I could miss the rest of the weekend.

RISK
Is such an amazing game. Like someone previously has mentioned, you can't beat getting 5 or 6 mates, having a tea binge and playing into the wee small hours.

Strangely 95% of the time I rarely get involved with Europe or America (and obviously Asia). Taking 1 of S.America followed by Africa (or vice versa) is the key for me, just make sure nobody ends up with entire northern continents.
