Is life good?

By work issues and kittens.
So I'm going to work now and leaving the kitten to it's own devices.
Cheerio, old chap!

and won't be back till after the GP probably. But I trust everyone will have a pleasant Sunday, rain notwithstanding.

All well in the world? I have a wretched hangover which I am attempting to exorcise with tea, painkillers and DVD's ...... I feel mankier than an Ipswich prostitute

I've got a friend coming round later today, and am tidying up my flat like a controlled cartoon-whirlwind.
( , Sun 7 Jun 2009, 12:09, Reply)

Knees aches like a bitch, and I'm all out of "painkillers". I'll just have to go and shoot something instead. Where's Al...

Have you tried screaming instead? It works wonders when in pain.

sorry - I left for work just as this went up!
how are you all my lovely fluffy people?
( , Sun 7 Jun 2009, 12:26, Reply)

Somebody please provide me with the motivation to go and mow my lawn...
Oh, and get up, have breakfast, do the washing up, tidy the kitchen, go and buy bread and milk, and stuff.
( , Sun 7 Jun 2009, 12:56, Reply)

The last part sounds just like my plan for the next hour or so. If I promise to do all that, will it inspire you to do that as sell?
I don't have a lawn, but will imagine I've miniaturised myself and have taken a mini-lawnmower to the hair of the friend who's coming over later, and pretend I'm mowing his hair.
( , Sun 7 Jun 2009, 13:18, Reply)

OK Mista - are you going to actually go near his hair at all? He might be a bit surprised.
( , Sun 7 Jun 2009, 13:19, Reply)

If I do end up with the power to shrink myself and acquire a mini lawnmower, I will of course ask his permission before I re-style his hair.

Cleaned the kitchen this morning so am now allowing myself the right to piss about on here all afternoon.
Tea + b3ta + music = win.
( , Sun 7 Jun 2009, 13:18, Reply)

Right that's it.
I haven't even had a cup of tea yet today. I am going to get up and go and buy some milk.
( , Sun 7 Jun 2009, 13:20, Reply)

Which I keep forgetting to take into work as I refuse to do any work or go into performance reviews without tea. Or coffee if I have to call someone stroppy.
Music is somewhat schizophrenic; I started out with Sinatra and have now moved on to Metallica. Yay.

My iTunes is on random so it's jumped on to Rilo Kiley now. Lovely :)

It's what I drink mostly. But right now I need some caffeine...
Also, I'm up and dressed now! Slater!

But today I have remained awake! Just about.

I'm thinking Thai green curry for lunch since I have rice and chicken to use up.

The Sunday Steak Brunch. Steak, sausages, bacon, fried egg, beans and a grilled mushroom and a grilled tomato. Nom nom nom.
( , Sun 7 Jun 2009, 14:18, Reply)

Bacon, sausage, steak and mushroom and beans sound good to me :) don't like eggs at all! Better put the oven on I guess since I'm now dribbling like a mong.

Water on the hob for rice, waiting for that to boil before I do anything else :)

Nice of Jensen to thank the engineers for giving him such a "monster" car. I'm not sure I would have been able to resist the temptation to suggest that I was an awesome driver.
( , Sun 7 Jun 2009, 14:47, Reply)

Hardly any overtaking, loads of field spread, cars still not really following closely.
Not really complaining, but it could have been better.
( , Sun 7 Jun 2009, 15:20, Reply)

I've mowed my lawn, and hoed all around my house.
And the sun shone and everything.
AND I have just drank some rooibosch. WIN.

I woke up after a night shift at around 17:00, got into work at 6ish, and am now pondering what I should do for dinner.
